Review: Diorshow Mascara

Hello, Everyone!

I just wanted to do a quick review on Dior's Diorshow mascara!

I bought this $24.50 at Sephora awhile back and I wanted to give it a proper review!

I have fairly long eyelashes to begin with and I am mainly looking for a mascara that makes my lashes look full!

In comes Diorshow!

(Excuse the no makeup in this picture but I felt it really showed my lashes)

This is a good mascara, yes, but is it worth the hefty price-tag?

Not for me, honestly.

Yes, my lashes look long, but they look long with my new favorite, L'Oreal Full Definition Mascara as well.

It definitely defined my lashes and made them look long, but the full-ness aspect was a fail for me.

I would recommend this product to those who have short lashes because this mascara definitely lengthens the look of your lashes tremendously!

I definitely want to try out the burgundy shade of this particular mascara!

What mascara have you been loving lately?

December Favorites

Hi All!!

Sorry it has been awhile since my first post: Finals, Christmas break, and such sort of consumed my life there for a bit!

But, now I am back in action with a list of what I have been LOVING for the past month! (A little late, I know)

But nonetheless, I have some very top-notch products (in my opinion) to share with you!

The first product that I have been loving lately is the Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray!  Honestly, when I first heard of makeup setting sprays, I kind of didn't think much of them.  I didn't really understand the concept of spraying what looked like water onto my finished makeup look.  But, let me tell you I have been proven wrong!

This stuff is awesome! It makes my makeup last ALL day, and if there are any signs of cakiness, this totally eliminates it!  What I do is put all my face makeup on: foundation, concealer, bronzer, etc. and spray about 5 sprays of this onto my face and let dry! It's perfection!

My second favorite of the month is Mac's Expensive Pink eyeshadow!  This is a golden-sheened pink that makes my green eyes pop! The color is amazing as well as the formulation! I love this eyeshadow!

My next favorite has been the Hervana boxed blush by Benefit!  During Christmas break, I had been working back at home as a hostess and needed a more subdued makeup look and this blush is perfect for that! It adds a subtle pink flush that looks great with any eye look!  I just swirl my brush into the colors and blend it into the apples of my cheeks!

Finally, my last favorite can be found at the drugstore! It is the Loreal Voluminous Full-Definition Mascara! (the one in the gold tube)  This product is awesome! I have long lashes to begin with but this mascara takes it to the next level! They look so long, thick and fluttery! I love this product so much and I definitely will keep repurchasing!

These products have been used almost daily in my makeup routine! I will definitely be repurchasing all of these products if I were to ever run out!

What are your favorites from this month??

Hope y'all have been doing well, and been enjoying the new year!!

Have a fabulous day!!

Weekend Makeup Haul

Hello, Ya'll!!

This is my very first post and I am SO excited to be starting a beauty blog!

If you have any suggestions and such for a newcomer of a beauty blog, be sure to comment!  Much appreciated, of course!

I love makeup hauls!  I love to see what other makeup products other people are buying and trying out!

This weekend I went to Saks Fifth Avenue, Sephora, and Ulta.

I had only been wanting to buy the ever so coveted, cult-favorite Chanel Tan De Soleil. (Que the angels singing!)

But, everyone knows a beauty addict can't just go and buy one makeup item. I mean, it's unheard of! Ok, so maybe I am being dramatic, but still!

Anyways....

So, I first went into Sephora and only came out with the infamous Dior Diorshow mascara in 090.  Everyone who loves makeup, has at least HEARD of this mascara.  It is rather expensive for a mascara, $24.50 I believe.  However, I have always wanted to try this and a little part of me is hoping it won't live up to the hype... But, I see an HG expensive mascara in my future...

For my upcoming birthday, Sephora offered a complimentary Fresh Sugar Kisses Mini Lip duo!  I am excited to try these because I feel at normal price, they are a tad overpriced for a lip balm.

I then headed over to Saks Fifth Avenue for the Chanel counter.  I immediately told the SA that I wanted the Chanel Tan De Soleil. I then asked for a sample of the Vitalumiere Aqua foundation.  I have been wanting to try this foundation since forever, but I didn't want to buy the $45 foundation without testing it out first on my crazy sensitive skin! She gave me both the Vitalumiere Aqua, and the Perfection foundation!  She also gave me a sample of their new mascara as well! (What a nice SA!!)

I also decided to buy a Chanel Ombre Essentielle in Fauve when I was there.  I had seen MakeupbytiffanyD, my favorite makeup guru, mention it on her favorites long ago.  I've wanted it ever since then and I decided this was the time!

Finally, I went to Ulta and only picked up two, relatively cheap, items as compared to my Chanel and Dior!  I picked up a nail polish from the Kardashian line, called Kendall on the Catwalk.  They were on sale for $3.99.... STEAL!! This is such a pretty blue color with a mix of blue, green, and purple sparkles! I can't wait to try this out as an accent nail!

I also bought a new face mask instead of my beloved Queen Helene Mint Julep mask.  I bought the Freeman's Avocado and Oatmeal mask because I had read many positive reviews on it so I wanted to
test it out!

I am excited to try out all my new products, and there will definitely be reviews of these products very soon!!

I will also be letting you know which Chanel foundation I decided to purchase, or if neither one had worked for me!

Hope everyone has a fabulous day!
